Regular Meeting
Town Office Building September 27th, 2011
40 Old Farms Road 7:00 PM
Approval of minutes from the 7/26/11 meeting.
General discussion and open forum for anyone present. Joe Colangelo will allot time for discussion and individual requests to speak.
Directors report.
Old Business:
- Review of the RRAC STEAP payments made and outstanding, and any associated RRAC items including the progress of electrical power installation, water well, and park benches.
- Discuss Parks Fund #6 and how it applies to both the Conservation and Parks and Recreation Department.
- Discuss maintenance schedules and programs to be put in place for the RRAC and the final draft of a use form for RRAC events, and the use of the all purpose field for soccer events requested by other towns.
New Business
- Review complaints/suggestions from Willington residents following the opening and use of the RRAC. (IE: bicycle use of the walking path and dumpster use)
- Greg Suchy will present his plan for a Willington Travel Basketball team to play in the Nutmeg league.
- Review the upcoming basketball season for Recreation, and any other Fall/Winter sports and events.
